Dilly Bread

Ingredients
  • 1 Pkg yeast, dissolved in ¼ cup lukewarm water.
  • 1 cup lukewarm cottage cheese
  • 2 T sugar
  • 1 T instant onion
  • 2 tsp dill seed
  • 1 T butter
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 ¼ cups flour

Directions
  1. Mix cheese and all ingredients, except yeast and flour.  
  2. Add yeast and flour.  Mix thoroughly.  
  3. Let rise 1 hour or until double in bulk.  Stir down. 
  4. Put in greased round baking dish. 
  5. Let rest 15 minutes.  
  6. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.
