WHY 'WIJN'
Wijn is pronounced "vine" and is the Dutch word for wine. Pella has a rich Dutch tradition that is obvious in the town's tulip-lined streets, building architecture and themed stores and restaurants. Calling this wine and tasting spot The Wijn House honors the rich Dutch heritage that can be seen throughout Pella.
The Wijn House has been a fixture in historic downtown Pella since it opened in the Fall of 2016. We are excited to continue sharing Iowa wines and having a place for locals and visitors to gather.
