Kaufman Farms

We are a fifth generation, family- owned and operated farm. We raise beef cattle, show pigs and raise out feed lot hogs on open floors. We do not feed growth hormones; we do vaccinate animals at a young age to keep them healthy and only use antibiotics if needed. We bale a large quantity of small square straw bales for sale to the public, as well as baling small square grass hay bales and large round hay bales to sell. We raise corn and soybeans also.

Let me tell you more about what we offer in the way of animal sales. We have 35 head of beef cows and offer their offspring for sale by 1/4, 1/2 and whole beef. You pick the amount you want, and it is delivered to a local locker for you to have custom processed the way you choose. You pay us for the live beef, and you pay the locker for the processing. Pretty simple and tasty.
Our hog operation consists of 85 sows that farrow for the main purpose of the babies becoming show pigs. The ones that are not sold as show pigs are then raised up and either sold as to customers as open gilts, bred gilts or go to the locker for custom butchering, the same as the beef. Hogs are available in 1/2 and whole amounts. You pay us for the hog, and you pay the locker for custom processing. We have a large selection of boars on the farms and often sell boars to other breeders. We also have extended boar semen that can be picked up on the farm or shipped to any state available by UPS.
