Naeve Family
Meat & Greet, LLC, which opened in 2022 in Camanche, is owned and operated by the Naeve family. Meat & Greet is a retail store that sells the Naeve’s locally raised high quality beef along with cheeses and beef products from other Iowa producers. The Naeve family farm has been in operation since the 1800s and has been passed down through six generations. They raise and process high quality Angus cattle and grow corn, soybeans, wheat and alfalfa.
Meat & Greet’s Choose Iowa grant project will expand Meat & Greet’s market by enabling direct-to-consumer meat sales. To achieve this goal, Meea & Greet will purchase a refrigerated truck that will provide a food-safe, temperature-controlled environment for its products while making deliveries.
Meat & Greet expects to increase customers, sales and revenue by $2,500. The Naeve family strives to provide their community with access to locally raised and grown products. This project will allow the Naeves to expand their reach to provide more consumers with more of their Iowa agricultural products.
